The beautiful town of Okotoks, Alberta is nestled in the Alberta foothills and Sheep River Valley area. It is just minutes away from Calgary and boasts a vibrant young population that plays in the great outdoors of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. It is a fairly small town listed as a population of 23,000 or so but it is growing as reflected by the new businesses and new facilities in town. A brand new bridge was recently finished and the scenic views from it are breathtaking. Snow skiing is minutes away and people flock to the area known as Baniff for its fine recreational activities. Okotoks is a very clean and low crime area and a great place to raise children. The school system is good, family friendly atmosphere. It is a great place to live and work with plenty of things to do.
